The Innovators Camp

The Innovators summer camp offers a fun, engaging, and creative experience where each week explores a new theme. From sports and art to culture, careers, and history. Campers enjoy a balanced mix of outdoor play, hands-on activities, and downtime, with plenty of chances to stay active and make friends. Each week includes a relaxed, creative project that lets campers explore the theme in their own way and take home something they’re proud of. The focus is on curiosity, creativity, and fun, helping campers discover new interests while making unforgettable summer memories.

🏆 Week 1 July 6-10
Sports and Stars

🎨 Week 2 July 13-17
Art Around the World

Campers will learn about different types of art and how art has been used in different mediums and throughout everyday life. Campers will also learn about an array of different artists and their specific art style. Campers will have different art activities each day based off of the main focus. For example one day would focus on album and record covers. After learning about these and seeing different examples, campers would try to recreate one. The next day, may focus on comic book covers and have the campers repeat the process of creating their own. Campers will also have time throughout the week to work on a project about an artist, or piece of art of their choosing.

🎶 Week 3 July 20-24
Movies and Music Madness

Lights, camera… create! 🎬🎤 This week, campers dive into the world of movies and music — discovering how their favourite films and songs are made and who brings them to life. They’ll listen, watch, and explore behind the scenes — then step into the spotlight themselves. Campers will write and perform skits, create songs, record short films, and experiment with storytelling, acting, and sound. Throughout the week, they’ll also work on a passion project inspired by a favourite movie, musician, actor, or director. By the end of the week, they won’t just be watching the show — they’ll be running it. 🌟

🌎 Week 4 July 27-31 Countries, Cultures and Cuisines

Pack your (imaginary) passport — we’re going on a global adventure! 🌍✈️ Campers will explore countries and cultures from around the world through stories, music, art, traditions — and of course… FOOD! Each day brings a new destination as we discover what makes different cultures unique and exciting. The best part? Campers won’t just learn about global cuisine — they’ll get hands-on in the kitchen alongside camp leaders to chop, mix, roll, season, and create some delicious dishes themselves. From sweet treats to savoury bites, they’ll taste their way around the world. Throughout the week, campers will also work on a creative project inspired by a country, culture, or cuisine of their choice. They might design a travel display, create a cultural art piece, build a presentation, or develop their own “mini cultural showcase” to share.

It’s part travel show, part cooking challenge, part creative studio — and 100% delicious fun. 🌎🍜✨

🧑‍🏫 Week 5 August 4-7
Cool Careers

What will you be when you grow up? 🚒👩‍⚕️👨‍🍳 This action-packed week lets campers explore exciting careers like doctor, firefighter, chef, police officer, teacher and more through hands-on activities, real-life guest speakers, and possibly even site visits to see these jobs in action. Campers will ask questions, take on fun challenges, and discover what it really takes to do these important roles — all while working on a creative project inspired by a career that sparks their interest. Big dreams start here! 🚀

🏛️ Week 6 August 10-14
Hands on With History

Step back in time for an unforgettable adventure! 🏛️⚔️ Campers will explore exciting periods of history and meet fascinating historic figures through interactive games, hands-on activities, and immersive challenges that bring the past to life. With possible visits to museums or libraries — and special guests sharing real artifacts and stories — history won’t just be something they learn about, it will be something they experience. Throughout the week, campers will also create their own project inspired by a historic person, time period, or place that captures their imagination. Time travel has never been this fun! 🚀
